At the time of shipment, we guarantee that each parrot arrives in excellent physical condition and is free of parasites, disease, or abnormal behavior. Before leaving our facility, each bird is carefully monitored, fed appropriately, and handled professionally to ensure that it meets our high health standards. In addition, we guarantee to our clients that no known viruses, harmful bacteria, fungal infections, or congenital or genetic defects that could compromise their long-term health are present in any of our birds. To ensure optimal physical and behavioral development, our birds are raised in clean, controlled environments with strict hygiene protocols and regular health checks.

  • Veterinary Examination Requirement

We strongly advise all buyers to have their bird examined by a licensed avian veterinarian of their choice within three (3) business days of receiving delivery to verify this health guarantee. This early examination ensures that any potential issues are identified quickly and helps confirm the bird’s health. The buyer is required to provide comprehensive laboratory reports, medical findings, and diagnostic results if the veterinarian identifies any condition that could affect the bird’s health or overall well-being during this time. The attending veterinarian at Exotic Parrot Farms must receive these documents for professional review and diagnosis confirmation. We are able to verify the claim fairly and accurately thanks to this procedure.

  • Policy on Refunds or Replacements

We reserve the right to take the necessary action based on the circumstances once our veterinary team has verified the reported condition and the affected bird has been returned to Exotic Parrot Farms. We will either, depending on the circumstances: Refund the original purchase price in full. OR
If a replacement bird of the same species, age, and gender is known or available, provide it. Please be aware that the removal, alteration, or damage to the bird’s leg band, which prevents proper verification and tracking of the bird’s origin, renders this health guarantee null and void.

  • Acceptance of the Settlement

The buyer acknowledges and agrees that the bird has been accepted in its current condition if a veterinary examination is not scheduled within the required three-day guarantee window. The bird is accepted “as-is” after this time period, and the sale is considered final. To ensure full coverage under our health guarantee policy, we urge all customers to carefully follow this step.

  • Information on Vaccinations

All Caique parrots purchased online from parrot home are immunized against the avian polyoma virus, unless otherwise noted in the product description. At the time of purchase, additional health treatments and preventive care may differ depending on species and availability.
